Colloquium on the Proposed Ethiopian National Dialogue Call for Papers
January 20, 2022
The Board of the Forum for Ethiopian Scholars and Professionals (FESP) is pleased to announce that it will be holding a special online colloquium on two successive Saturdays of March 12 and 19, 2022. The colloquium will be held in cooperation with the Institute of Ethiopian Studies (IES) of Addis Ababa University. The theme and sub-themes are the recently proposed Ethiopian National Dialogue (Amharic version). National dialogue is often seen as a vehicle to an end, where the path to sustainable peace, human security, development, the rule of law, and accountability are defined, and crisis is resolved. The Board welcomes the initiative and hopes that the
colloquium will be one of the forums for scholars of substance, professionals and former Statesmen (Stateswomen) to contribute towards the development of a shared and workable national policy for transitioning the country into a stable order.
The Ethiopian Forum for Constructive Engagement, established in 2014, is a non-governmental, non‐profit and non‐partisan Peacemaking organization in the advancement of truth, justice, reconciliation and human rights.
